To the nynth he saith that he this Rendent … To the nynth he saith that he this Rendent neyther knoweth nor beleiveth<br />
any the Contents [?saggesed] in this article. but beleiveth the Contrary and further <br />
cannot depose.
To the tenth he saith that the sylver now claymed was and is for the onely<br />
Accompt of the producent and was to have bene delivered to him at Oostend<br />
and otherwise negatively to every part of this Interrogatorie.
To the eleventh he saith that he hath in the Bay of Cadize and elsewhere [?of]<br />
heard the producent affirme and declare that the sayd sylver was laden<br />
for his owne proper Accompt and att his owne hazard and adventure. And<br />
further he cannot depose.
To the twelfth he saith that he this Rendent was and is of Garachicho in Tener[iffe]<br />
both by birth and habitation. And saith that he this Rendent hath noe [?manas]<br />
propertie or other Interest whatsoever in the sylver now claymed by way [of]<br />
ensurance, or any other way, neither will the losse or confiscation thereof [?be]<br />
to his the Rendents damage, or the Restitution thereof to his benifit and <br />
advantage and otherwise he cannot depose.
To the thirteenth and fourteeth he cannot depose.
To the fifteenth he saith that the sylver now claymed as he hath predeposed<br />
was bought with the proceed of the Merchandizes of the Indies. and otherwise negatively<br />
And further he cannot depose.
To the sixteenth he saith he this Rendent knoweth not beleiveth or hath [?heard]<br />
of any Insurance made upon the sayd sylver or any part thereof. And<br />
otherwise he cannot depose.
To the seventeenth he saith that he this Rendent saw the Interrogat Pedro<br />
de Campo signe two other bills of lading of the tenor of the bill to []<br />
allegation annexed and the same were by the sayd Pedro delivered to [Don]<br />
Antonio de Ponte the producent and otherwise he cannot depose.
To the eighteenth he saith that by the firme, markes in the margent and [?na]<br />
as well as by the Contents thereof, he this deponent is fully satisfyed and<br />
conoissced that the bill interrate is one of those that this Rendent saw [?the]<br />
sayd Pedro de Campo signe as aforesayd in the Baye of Cadize, And further [he]<br />
deposeth not.
To the nynteenth he saith that he knoweth that the three bills of lading<br />
mentioned were delivered into the hands of this deponents sayd Master the<br />
producent, and this Rendent knoweth that the syd producent left one of [?them]<br />
in Spaine, sent another by Land into fflanders, and kept the third bill in [?his]<br />
hande, and beleiveth that the Bill now showne him is the same as [?h]<br />
so kept in his owne Custody, and that he brought it himselfe to this Citty.<br />
otherwise he cannot depose.
To the twentyeth he saith that the sayd Antonio de Ponte came aboard the<br />
''Sampson'' from Cadize, and was aboard att her surprizall. And otherwise [?he]<br />
cannot depose.
To the one and twentyeth he saith that the sayd Pedro de Campo delivered<br />
bills interrate to the producent on board the ''Sampson'' in the bay of Cadize and [?the]<br />
same were not delivered back againe to the sayd Pedro. And further he cannot<br />
depose.
To the two and twentyeth he saith and deposeth that the sylver now claymed <br />
brought from the Havana in the West Indies in a shipp named the ''St [?Juan]''<br />
''Baptista''. Juan Sericho Master or Commaunder. and otherwise he cannot depose
