To the last hee saith that what hee hath p … To the last hee saith that what hee hath predeposed is<br />
true.
To the crosse Interrogatories. [CENTRE HEADING]
To the first Interrogatorie hee saith that hee was a passenger<br />
abord the said ship the ''Saint Martin'' when shee came last from<br />
Smirna bound for Ligorne and saith hee had some goods for<br />
his owne accompt abord her when shee came from thense and at<br />
the tyme of the seizure thereof. And otherwise referring himselfe to<br />
his foregeoing deposition hee saith hee cannot depose.
To the second Interrogatorie hee saith and deposeth that hee hath knowne<br />
the producent by the space of about 8 yeares and saith hee is<br />
of Spaham in Persia where hee was borne, And that hee this<br />
Examinate was borne at Constantinople where his wife and family<br />
now dwell and Inhabite And otherwise saveing his foregoeing<br />
deposition hee answereth negatively.
To the third Interrogatorie hee saith and deposeth that the said<br />
ship the ''Saint Martin'' is a ffrench shippe and her Comander and<br />
all her Company save 5 or 6 hee saith were and are ffrench men<br />
And otherwise saveing as aforesaid hee answereth negatively.
To the fowrth Interrogatorie hee answereth negatively referring himselfe<br />
to his foregoeing deposition.
To the fifth Interrogatorie hee saith that the goods now claymed<br />
in this cause are of the growth of severall Countreys and places videlicet<br />
the Grogoran yarne schedulated of Begbazar in the Turks dominions<br />
the worme seed and Rubarb of the growth of Balke and [BXXXX GUTTER]<br />
within the Kingdome of Usbeck and lastly the 5 bales of silke<br />
are of the growth of the parts and places neere Ardiveile in Persia<br />
And further saith thát hee was as a foresaid present when<br />
the producent bought the sáme. And otherwise hee answereth<br />
negatively.
To the 6th Interrogatorie hee saith that the said producent came<br />
from leghorne to Smirna ymediately before hee retourned<br />
from thense for Smirna againe. And saith that the ffrench<br />
had never any thing to doe with the goods claymed in this<br />
cause nor were they to runne any advanture or hazard<br />
there a bouts referring himselfe to his foregoeing deposition<br />
And otherwise answereth negatively.
To the {seaventh} Interrogatorie hee saith that hee this Examinate did<br />
see aNd was present when the said Michael Audric signed<br />
the said schedule or bill of loading annexed and saith [when GUTTER]<br />
hee soe signed the same hee allso signed another [XXXXX GUTTER]<br />
at Smirna for better security and least hee should by any [XXX GUTTER]<br />
have lost that which is now annexed to the said Allegation And<br />
otherwise hee answereth negatively saveing that the said producent<br />
