To the 3 hee saith there was rie and some other goods carried in the<br />
said shipp from fflushing to Bayon and were for the said owners accounts<br />
And otherwise hee cannot depose saving as aforesaid.

To the 5th hee saith that the said oiles were laden about two monethes<br />
since and severall of the hogsheads conteyning the same are leakie<br />
and the same is soe worsted that it comes abundantly out at the<br />
pump, and the same and the rest of the lading are in a perishing<br />
condition and like to be spoiled with longe lying.

To the 7 hee saith the master was to receive his freight after 28<br />
gilders and 16 stivers per fatt for each fatt of the said oile, whale bone<br />
and box soe laden by the ffrench, which hee was to receive at<br />
haver de Grace of their marchant to whom the goods were to be<br />
delivered, And otherwise hee cannot depose.

To the first, second, third fourth and fifth Interrogatories hee saith and<br />
deposeth That the said shipp the ''Phoenix'' belobgeth to the port of<br />
Schadam in holland and that her owners dwell all there and at<br />
Amsterdam and the hague and were and are all dutch men<br />
and subiects of the States of the United Netherlands, namely Jacob<br />

John Lookevearson and this deponent and others, and that noe ffrenchman<br />

And as touching the said shipps lading of salt hee saith the sae<br />

And saith hee had noe papers aboard but his seabrief, which hee hath in<br />
his custodie, but hee signed a Charterpartie, which was left to be sent<br />
overland to haver de Grace. And saith his said lading of salt consisted at<br />
the time of the seizure of 130 lasts of salt and that hee was to receive<br />
freight for the same 34 gilders per last, which was to be paid at haver<br />
de Grace by him that received it. And otherwise hee cannot depose.
