Thomas Dawes (b. ca. 1623; d. ?). Mariner.
Master's mate in the West India Merchant in a voyage to Virginia from October 1651 to July 1652.[1] Prior to his voyage as master's mate on the West India Merchant, he "hath gone masters mate severall voyages and in the absence of the master hath sometimes hyred mariners, and that they were all for Virginia voyages".[2]

Evidence from High Court of Admiralty
Thirty year old Thomas Dawes deposed on December 3rd 1653 in the High Court of Admiralty. He was examined on a libel in the case of "Price against Smith".[4]
