Biographical synthesis

Thomas Dawes (b. ca. 1623; d. ?). Mariner.

Master's mate in the West India Merchant in a voyage to Virginia in 1651.[1]

Resident in 1653 in Shadwell "where he hath lived five years"[2]

Evidence from High Court of Admiralty

Thomas Dawes deposed on December 3r4d 1653 in the High Court of Admiralty. He was examined in the case of "Price against Smith".[3]
