Other information

Thomas Lockington testifies in the High Court of Admiralty in Jan 1654 to the ordinary price of red and white herrings in the year 1646. He confirms that he bought fish at those prices by perusing his shop books for 1646.[1]

DE/HL/12356 By James Halsey of Wallingford House, Westminster, Middlesex, D D, and Thomas Lockington of London, fishmonger, to William Halsey of Great Gaddesden, Hertford, esq, and John Halsey of the same, his son, of property in Old Fish Street, the Middle Row, St Nicholas Cole Abbey; in Trinity Lane and elsewhere, Holy Trinity; and in Old Fish Street in the Middle Row, St Mary Magdalen's.
