Biographical synthesis

John Moses (b. ca. 1607; d. ?). Mariner.

"Hee hath used the sea for theise seaven yeeres last, most of which time hee hath bin in the States imployment. And saith hee is worth five pounds his debts paid."[1]

Resident in 1658 in Shadwell.

Evidence from High Court of Admiralty

Fifty-two year old John Moses deposed on February 28th 1658 in the High Court of Admiralty. He was examined on an allegation in the case of "Sorrell con Hall".[2]
