The brother Henry Finch was described in the St Helen's, Bishopsgate parish register as "M:r Henry Finch, merchant" in a burial entry for July 2nd, 1687 W. Bruce Bannerman, The registers of St. Helen's, Bishopsgate, London (London, 1904), p. 334
